The Bellanton Transformation Project is a mission to transform a community devastated by poverty and the recent earthquake on Jan 12th in Haiti. We will transform a community and help with rebuilding a school church and homes, medical aid, setting up micro businesses for locals to own and operate and training for the future. Our vision and prayer is for this to become a model that we will be able to reproduce around Haiti and other parts of the world.

CityLights is working with Hope Filled Hands, The Omega Team and cooperating with the Fuller Center for Housing to take a large team into Haiti during April for Phase 1. We would love to have you join us.

I oversee 27 churches in Haiti. The mother church is in a place called Bellanton on the outskirts of Port au Prince. The church building and school were destroyed. Also EVERY member of that church has lost or had their homes badly damaged. We also have an orphanage in that area and the perimeter wall was destroyed. Here is what we are proposing to do.

Rebuild the orphanage walls so the children are safe (Haiti has a reputation for trafficking children - esp orphans)

Rebuild the school

Work with The Fuller Center and Hope Filled Hands to rebuild homes for families

Help establish and kick start some small businesses to provide for the families ongoing.

We have called this the "BELLANTON TRANSFORMATION PROJECT". Our goal is to transform this community spiritually, economically and physically.

Dates are: Depart USA Mon April 12, Return Fri 23rd.

Cost is $1500 US departing from Minneapolis and includes everything - airfare, transport to and from the airport in Haiti, accommodation, food, travel insurance and a donation toward the project.
